Refilling your candle means doing something to help the planet… and your wallet at the same time! You can keep your favourite candle glass and refill it as many times as you like thanks to the ready-to-use refill solution: a recyclable cardboard container holding vegetable scented wax, topped by a cover made of wood (and reusable) to ensure the entire package remains safely sealed! After completing a few simple steps, a new candle will be ready to delight you.
Our candle refills boast the same qualities as our standard candles:
• 100% vegetable wax made from non-GMO European rapeseed
• A cotton wick selected for the properties and quality of its fibre.
The fragrance of our candles and candle refills provides the same high quality irrespective of whether the candle is hot or cold. Once lit, your Estéban scented candle gives you 35-40 hours of scented atmosphere depending on the conditions in which it is used and the model of candle glass you have chosen (≈30 hours for an Elessens candle glass).
For optimum burning quality, use your candle for periods of between 1 to 3 hours so that a pool of liquid wax forms evenly on the surface, ensuring that the wax melts gradually and evenly.
From initial design to production through testing and the addition of the fragrance, our candles and their refills enjoy the expertise of 7 key talents and are crafted in a 15-step process, all of which is carried out in our workshops in the South of France. As with our candles, the wicks of our refills are placed, centred and cut by hand by our expert candle makers.

A tip to help you remove the refill from its container : to make it easier to remove the refill from its packaging, leave it in the freezer for 30 minutes or in the refrigerator for 60 minutes
Remove the protective absorbent paper and use scissors to make an initial cut
Tear the container from top to bottom, following the dotted lines
Place it in the Estéban jar. Your new candle is ready for lighting!
